Yes, and I will be direct about what an affordable budget actually buys. Most quotes are padded with things you will not need in the first year. My approach is to spend on the pages people genuinely read and on the setup that makes you findable, then leave everything else until you have the traffic to justify it. I will tell you which is which before you pay anything.

Locally, most developers charge between US$300 and US$600 for a one page site, and between US$1,000 and US$3,000 for a full one. Mine start at US$400, US$1,100 and US$2,200. In my experience, though, the headline figure matters far less than what moves it. Page count is rarely the expensive part; complexity is. A ten page brochure site is cheaper to build than a three page site that has to communicate with your booking system.

Google is no longer simply a list of links. Around sixty percent of searches now end without a single click, and when an AI answer appears at the top of the page that figure rises to roughly eighty three percent. The target has moved. Ranking on page one matters less than being the source the AI quotes when it answers. That requires a structure machines can read, plain answers near the top of each section, and schema that states exactly who you are. I build every site this way as standard.

Not in the form it was sold five years ago. Keyword stuffing, link buying and thin pages written for search engines are finished. What replaced them is duller and far more durable: being genuinely readable by machines. My honest view is that SEO did not die, it was absorbed. The label is outdated, the underlying work matters more than ever, and I would rather build it in from the start than sell it back to you as a monthly service.

A small site usually takes a couple of weeks, and a full one closer to three or four. In my experience the build itself almost never delays a project; waiting on content does. If your text and photographs are ready when we start, your site will be finished sooner than you expect.

If you already have a marketing team and a brand book, an agency is probably a better fit than I am, and I would tell you so on the first call.
